How to add a new VST to FL Studio: Quick Guide

This is just a quick guide on how to add any new VST instrument to FL Studio on windows.

Some VSTs you will need to install where as others you will simply need to copy the .dll file into FL Studios program files.

If your VST is an .exe the first step is to simply install it.

However if the VST is a .dll file you will need to copy this to:

Program Files > Image Line > FL Studio > Plugins > VST

Also copy any folders that came with your VST such as a preset folder to this location.

Next 

Load up FL Studio and on the step sequence right click an already loaded sound or instrument and click insert, then on this menu click more.

 You will now see this menu:

Click on fast scan and FL Studio should now find the new VST and it will be red. Check the box next to your new plugin and then close this menu.

Your new plugin will now be installed in FL Studio and be ready to use!
